It was a little after 5:30. And Carleen walked to the cafeteria to find Sara. They were supposed to meet here at 5:30 to have dinner together. Carleen stood at the door way and looked for Sara, but could not find her. Carleen walked to the line of food, and looked for Sara at the same time. Carleen ordered a chicken manderian salad and a lemon ice tea. Hopefully I don't pull another coffee incendient(sp), she thought to her self. She walked out to an empty table and waited for Sara to come and find her.

Hi! Sara said, sitting next to Carleen. Sorry I am late. Mr. Cater had me in band for a little extra time. she explained to her new friend, after taking a sip of the pink lemonade she got. Do you do band? Sara asked Carleen, after a few moments of silence out of them. The cafeteria was really noisy. She took a bite out of her Chicken Fellet. She never noticed her friend got chicken, also.

Carleen looked at Sara and answered her question about band, No I don't, but I do sing. If that counts. She said with a little laugh. She knew that singing really wasn't band, but it kinda was because musical bands have singers. She took a sip of her tea and then a small bite of her salad. She awaited for Sara to talk again.

"I guess that counts." Sara smiled, then took a bite out of her chicken, and took a sip of her drink. "Its quiet in here, better then my old school." Sara told Carleen, now waiting for her reply.
